Janusz Władyczak is the new President of KUKE
On 31 January 2018, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of KUKE S.A. appointed a new President of the Management Board. This position will be taken over by Janusz Władyczak, who from July 2016 was the Vice-President of the Management Board responsible for the development and sale of insurance products.
Janusz Władyczak has many years of experience in financial institutions both in Poland and abroad. He has been with KUKE as a Vice-President of the Management Board since mid-2016. During this time, he was responsible for the development and sale of insurance products, in particular, insurance of trade receivables and insurance guarantees.
Previously associated with the investment funds industry and foreign investment banks. At PKO TFI, he was responsible for shaping the product strategy, remodelling the investment funds offer and creating and implementing investment and savings solutions dedicated to a wide spectrum of clients. On behalf of the Raiffeisen Bank head office in Vienna, he introduced structured certificates and warrants on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the Vienna Stock Exchange and other Central and Eastern European enabling the bank to become the leader in this segment.
At Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank, and then at Credit Agricole CIB, he was responsible for relationships and transactions with the largest enterprises and financial institutions from the former USSR countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. He was also responsible for securing multi-million structured and syndicated loans as well as project and export finance transactions, working with the largest export credit agencies in the world. He also dealt with a wide range of transactions in the capital market, including interest rate instruments, bonds, currencies, commodities, and shares.
He graduated from the ESCP European School of Management in Paris. He also studied in London, Vienna, Geneva and Bangkok.
