Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, in collaboration with the Export Credit Insurance Corporation, has finalised a USD 39 million credit arrangement for a project where a Polish firm will build a five-star hotel in the centre of Tbilisi.
Polish PMG SA (Famur Group) is the supplier of mining machinery worth EUR 20.76m to Russia. The funding for this export contract is provided by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The buyout of export receivables is covered by KUKE’s insurance policy.
BGK has signed a credit agreement worth PLN 245m (EUR 55m) financing the export contract of the Polish construction company Unibep SA, from Bielsk Podlaski. The funding will be secured by KUKE’s insurance policy.

Actively supporting the international expansion of Polish companies, KUKE insured a contract of Vistal Gdynia S.A. for the supply of harbour cranes to Algeria. The insurance coverage was provided under export credit insurance with State Treasury backing.
KUKE has concluded a cooperation agreement with CRIST S.A. shipyard and is to issue bonds totaling over EUR 9 million. The advance payment bonds granted by KUKE pertain to a contract signed between the Polish shipyard and a Norwegian ship-owner.
Within its activity backed by the State Treasury, KUKE supported financing the purchase of modern, multi-purpose vessel by a Canadian shipowner. The vessel was built by the shipyard Remontowa Shipbuilding SA.
The members of the Berne Union and the Prague Club, organisations representing export credit agencies and foreign investment insurers from around the world, will meet in Warsaw between 9th and 13th May. The meeting will be hosted by KUKE.
As of 1 March 2016, Export Insurance Policy Committee has allowed transactions with Iran to be insured by KUKE. This is a major step towards strengthening the support offered by the Polish state to companies exporting and investing on the Iranian market.
