Janusz Władyczak - President of the Management Board
Janusz Władyczak has extensive experience gained in financial institutions, both in Poland and abroad.
Previously, he served as Director of the Investment Products Department at PKO TFI where he was responsible for setting out the product strategy for investment funds, creating and implementing investment and savings solutions offered to customers on the Polish market.
During his work at a financial institution in Austria he implemented structured investment products for private and retail banking customers, as well as derivatives in the form of certificates and warrants listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
At French investment banks he was responsible for the relations and for concluding transactions with the largest enterprises and financial institutions from the former Soviet states, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
He was also responsible for securing bilateral loans running into millions, structured and syndicated credits and export finance transactions, co-operating with the largest export credit agencies (ECAs) in the world. He also dealt with a wide spectrum of transactions in the capital market.
He graduated from ESCP European School of Management in Paris. He also studied at Vienna University, at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies forming part of Geneva University, as well as at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok.
He likes to spend his free time actively. He particularly enjoys snowboarding, kayaking and tennis. His passion is travel.
Married, father of a seven-year-old daughter.
Katarzyna Kowalska - Vice-President of the Management Board
Katarzyna Kowalska was appointed Vice-President of the Management Board of KUKE in June 2016.
She is a graduate of the Poznań Univesity of Economics and Business with a major in Finance and Accounting (specialty in corporate capital investments and financial strategies). Also, a graduate of the London School of Economics.
She commenced her professional career in financial consulting. Since 2012, she worked as Business Developer in the payments industry responsible for business development in Central and Eastern European countries, among others in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Kazakhstan. She handled business relations with banks and interbank institutions, including central banks and clearing houses. Next, Katarzyna Kowalska held the post of Deputy Director of the Large Investment Support Department in the Ministry of Development, where she was responsible for managing relations with both domestic and foreign financial institutions as well as coordinating sources and financial instruments.
