Export support is a part of the general economic policy of the state. The aim is to boost the positive achievements of Polish entrepreneurs who sell goods and services abroad. This form of assistance is particularly significant to exporters entering new markets and carrying out innovative export projects.
One method of export support is to make available to exporters the insurance services which facilitate safe trade around the world, including safe trade in the so-called “higher risk markets”. The Act of 7 July 1994 on Export Insurance Guaranteed by the State Treasury gives KUKE S.A. a mandate to provide insurance solutions not offered by private insurance companies. Export insurance backed by the State Treasury allows Polish exporters to develop business ties with new buyers and carry out complex, often long-term export projects.
One of the basic preconditions for provision of insurance with state support is compliance with rules for origin of goods as defined by the Ordinance of the Minister of Economy of 6 August 2001.
