Wsparcie Skarbu Państwa dla eksporterówGovernment Programs
Export Credit Insurance Corporation Joint Stock Company (KUKE S.A.), along with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), has been entrusted with implementing the Government Export Support Program accepted by the government on 28 July 2009. Implementation of the Program is monitored by the Ministry of Finance. In the light of restricted financing of foreign trade by commercial banks, the aim of the Program is to provide financing of export contracts concluded by Polish exporters, and therefore to boost Polish exports.
Within the framework of the Program BGK grants to foreign importers (directly or through the importer’s bank) credits for financing purchases of Polish goods and services. The credits are disbursed directly to Polish exporters. Foreign importers repay the credits on completion of the deliveries or services. The credits granted to foreign importers are insured by KUKE S.A. from political and commercial risk. KUKE S.A. and BGK signed a framework agreement which stipulates the principles of bilateral cooperation between KUKE S.A. and BGK in implementing the goals of the Program.
The Program includes the following instruments of financing Polish exports:
Medium- and long-term financing (repayment period of two years and more):
Short-term financing:
The products offered within short-term financing are applicable to letters of credit issued by banks registered in the non-marketable risk countries.
