OECD
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development was founded in 1961. It brings together 30 highly developed countries committed to democracy and market economy. Objectives of the OECD include: promoting sustainable economic growth, raising living standards in member states, contributing to growth in world trade. Poland is a member of the OECD since 1996. The Organisation drew up principles - binding all the member countries - regarding the crediting and insurance of exports supported by the state (with deferred payment terms of two years and more), putting in place, amongst others, a minimum premium benchmark system. These principles were adopted in the form of an agreement known as the OECD Consensus.
